Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The faisdodo app ("the App") is published by the P51 collective ("we", "us"). For any question about this policy, contact us at sebastien@timoner.com.

2. Data processed

faisdodo is built around privacy by design. The App runs 100% offline as far as your data is concerned:

• Child profile — the first name and date of birth you enter. Age is used only to compare their sleep to the range for their age. Stored locally.
• Assessment answers and plan — your answers to the sleep questionnaire, the night score and the recommendations derived from them. Stored locally.
• Night log and tracking — the nights you record (wakings, falling asleep, routines, events) and the trends computed from them. Stored locally.
• Warning-signs check — your answers to the safety questions, kept on the device.
• Preferences — language and onboarding state, stored locally.

We do not collect: your name, email address, account identifiers, location, contacts, or advertising identifiers. The App requires no account.

3. Device permissions

faisdodo requests no sensitive permissions: no camera, microphone, location or contacts. The App does not need network access to work.

4. Local storage

All your data (child profile, assessment, plan, log, tracking, preferences) is saved in the App’s private space on your device, via the system’s local storage. It is not synced to the cloud.

5. Third-party services

The App embeds no behavioural-analytics, advertising or tracking SDK. The scientific studies cited in the app link, if you open them, to the publishers’ sites (DOI); those sites then apply their own policies.

If you download the App from the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google), those platforms apply their own policies to the download and any payments. We have no access to that data.

6. Retention & deletion

Your data stays on your device for as long as you wish. You can remove a child, delete a night, or erase everything from the App’s settings. Uninstalling the App permanently removes all associated data from your device.

7. Your rights

Because we hold no copy of your data on any server, you keep full, direct control of it from your device. Under the GDPR and applicable laws, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure and portability — exercised here by viewing, editing or deleting your data directly in the App. For any question, email us at sebastien@timoner.com.

8. Children

faisdodo is intended for parents, who enter information about their child’s sleep. That information never leaves the device and is never sent to us. The App is not intended to be used by children and asks them for no data directly.

9. What the app is

faisdodo is an information and guidance tool, not a medical device or medical advice. It makes no diagnosis. If you are worried about your child’s sleep (snoring, breathing pauses, repeated terrors), see a doctor or paediatrician.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the App or to regulations. The "last updated" date at the top indicates the current version. Significant changes will be flagged in the App or on this website.
